Episode Summary

In this episode, Pastor Jeff tackles a topic frequently discussed among people, both young and old: determining God’s will.  How can we know what God wants us to do? The first step is to turn to God’s Word. Jeff and Jen discuss the question, “Is Scripture sufficient for what I need to know in this life?”

Topics We Discussed in this Episode

●     [5:34]            To say the Scriptures are sufficient means that the Bible is all we need to equip us for a life of faith and service. Scripture contains all the words of God that God intends for His people to have: words we need for salvation, for trusting Him perfectly, and for obeying Him.

●     [9:20]            The Bible, through King David, declares itself more than sufficient for us in all that we might need for this life.

●     [10:24]          Why is sufficiency of Scripture so important?

●     [17:05]          Immerse yourself daily with the Scriptures. They are sufficient for all that we need for life and godliness. He reveals His will for us in His Word so be careful to follow the guidance of Scripture.
