Episode Summary

In this episode, we look at what it means when we say the Bible is “inspired”. Scripture is literally, “God-breathed”. Man wrote down that which God wanted written. The Scriptures are the product of both God and man, working together in perfect harmony, all the while reflecting the writing style of 40 different individual authors. Jeff explores how God gave us this gift of an inspired, God-breathed book.

Topics We Discussed in this Episode

●     [3:45]            Scriptures are authored from God.

●     [7:00]            The process of inspiration was not a mechanical dictation nor automatic writing. God moved through the writers to ensure the integrity and accuracy of what was said.

●     [8:10]            God inspired 40 authors over 1500 years to write what God wanted written.

●     [12:16]            The Bible is complete.
