Three Reasons We Should Sing Sound Theology with Ricky Alcantar
Our singing shapes our theology in many ways, and vice versa. In today’s special episode, pastor Jeff welcomes Ricky Alcantar, lead pastor at Cross of Grace Church, to discuss what our hymns tell us about our beliefs; It reveals, shapes, and doxologizes our theology. By understanding this connection, we can have a deeper understanding of our faith. Ricky also discusses that songs should be theologically sound, and they should appeal to us on an emotional level. The scripture is filled with songs, and it’s only appropriate for theologians to sing together in order to have a well-rounded understanding of God.
